52 Guangdong companies rank among China's top 500 enterprises
On September 11th, the latest list of China's top 500 enterprises was released, with 52 companies from Guangdong making the prestigious ranking. The combined revenue of these 500 companies surpassed 110 trillion yuan, representing a 1.58% increase compared to the previous year. Huawei led the list in R&D spending, investing 164.7 billion yuan in research and development.
Among the listed companies, 16 achieved revenues exceeding one trillion yuan, while 253 companies reported revenues of over 100 billion yuan, making up more than half of the list. The top five companies in terms of revenue are State Grid (3.864 trillion yuan), Sinopec (3.041 trillion yuan), China National Petroleum Corporation(2.985 trillion yuan), China State Construction (2.266 trillion yuan), and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (1.611 trillion yuan). Rounding out the top ten are China Construction Bank, Agricultural Bank of China, China Railway, Bank of China, and China Railway Construction.
In terms of regional distribution, Beijing leads with 78 companies, followed by Shandong (55), Guangdong (52), Zhejiang (51), Jiangsu (40), Shanghai (33), Hebei (25), Fujian (21), Sichuan (19), and Hubei (14), representing the top ten provinces with the most companies on the list.
R&D expenditure by these top 500 companies reached 1.81 trillion yuan, an increase of 235 billion yuan, or 14.89% year-on-year. Huawei, with its 164.7 billion yuan R&D expenditure, ranked first.
Corresponding with the surge in R&D investment, innovation output among these companies also improved. The total number of valid patents held by the China's top 500 enterprises reached 2.0297 million, an increase of 144,400 patents or 7.66% compared to the previous year. Of these, 889,600 were invention patents, marking a 19.67% increase. Invention patents now account for 43.83% of all patents, up 4.40 percentage points from last year, reflecting an improvement in patent quality.
52家粤企跻身中国企业500强
9月11日,“中国企业500强”榜单发布,其中52家广东企业跻身中国企业500强。500强企业营业收入总和突破110万亿元大关,较上年相比增长1.58%。研发投入方面,华为以1647亿元的研发费用位居第一。
在上榜企业中,有16家企业营业收入破万亿元,营业收入超过千亿元的企业数量达到253家,占比超过50%。从具体排名来看,前五强分别为国家电网(38648.92亿元)、中国石化(30419.46亿元)、中国石油(29854.11亿元)、中国建筑(22655.29亿元)、工商银行(16116.30亿元),第六到十名是建设银行、农业银行、中国铁路、中国银行、中国铁建。
地域分布方面,北京(78家)、山东(55家)、广东(52家)、浙江(51家)、江苏(40家)、上海(33家)、河北(25家)、福建(21家)、四川(19家)、湖北(14家)是入围企业最多的十个省份。
研发投入方面,上榜企业投入研发费用累计达1.81万亿元,同口径增长了2350亿元,增幅为14.89%。其中,华为以1647亿元的研发费用位居第一。
与研发投入快速增长对应,上榜企业的创新成果产出水平继续提升。2024中国企业500强持有有效专利总数202.97万件,比上年增加了14.44万件,增长了7.66%。其中,持有发明专利88.96万件,比上年增长了19.67%;发明专利占全部专利的43.83%,比上年提高了4.40个百分点,专利质量提升。
