千万不要一个字一个字直译成 draw a big pie，英文里的类似说法是：pie in the sky。

2.空中楼阁

A castle in the air/sky

英文的说法几乎可以直译：a castle in the air/sky。

在空气中建造城堡，基本上是不可能的任务，因此用来指只存在于幻想中的事物。

3.空头支票

Rubber Check or Bad Paper

比喻不会实践的承诺，英文里则说那是rubber check或bad paper。
